Protection of Personal Data

As Armon Teknoloji A.Ş. (“Armon”), we attach great importance to privacy and personal data security, and we take utmost care to conduct our operations in compliance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698, which entered into force on April 7, 2016, and became fully effective with all its provisions as of October 7, 2016.
 

Introduction:

As Armon, we process personal data in connection with our activities across internal company operations, recruitment processes, commercial relationships, and the delivery of our products and services to clients. Personal data refers to any information relating to you as an identifiable individual, such as your name and surname, that directly identifies or makes you identifiable. The processing of personal data encompasses activities such as collecting, recording, modifying/updating, making accessible, and transferring personal data to parties located domestically and/or abroad. In our capacity as a data controller, we wish to inform you about how and for what purposes your personal data is collected, processed, and transferred, as well as your legal rights within this scope.

Within the scope of the activities carried out by Armon, we process personal data primarily for the following purposes:

Personal data processed by the Company may be transferred to public institutions, organizations, and authorized judicial bodies in cases stipulated by legislation and involving legal obligations.

Furthermore, personal data processed by the Company may be shared with third parties with whom the Company has business relations, for purposes related to our operations such as contractual relationships, the delivery of products and services, the execution of sales and service operations by dealers and technical services, the administration of incentive and project processes, and the conduct of R&D activities.


Fundamental Principles in Personal Data Processing:

When processing personal data, Armon acts in accordance with applicable legislation and the fundamental principles outlined below:

  • Fulfilling necessary obligations toward data subjects under the legislation,

  • Collecting personal data in a manner suitable for the intended purpose and to the extent necessary,

  • Using personal data mindfully and within the framework of confidentiality rules,

  • Processing personal data only when necessary, relevant, and in a proportionate manner,

  • Implementing all appropriate technical and organizational measures required by the KVKK to keep personal data secure,

  • Ensuring that personal data is accessible only by authorized Armon personnel on a "need-to-know" basis,

  • Keeping personal data accurate and up to date,

  • Respecting data subject rights, particularly the rights to be informed and to request information,

  • Sharing and transferring personal data securely, appropriately, and strictly to the extent required.


Your Rights Under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data:

Under personal data protection legislation, by applying to our Company, you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is being processed,

  • Request information if your personal data has been processed,

  • Learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,

  • Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,

  • Request the rectification of incomplete or inaccurate personal data,

  • Request the erasure or destruction of your personal data under the conditions laid down in Law No. 6698,

  • Request notification of the operations carried out pursuant to rectification, erasure, or destruction to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,

  • Object to any negative outcome arising from the analysis of your processed data exclusively through automated systems,

  • Claim compensation for damages incurred due to unlawful processing of personal data.
     

Regarding Data Subject Applications:

To exercise your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may submit your application in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller to our physical address at Mustafa Kemal Mahallesi Dumlupınar Bulvar No: 280G/512 Çankaya Ankara, to kvkk@armongate.com (if your email address is registered in our systems), or to our Registered Electronic Mail (KEP) address at armonteknoloji@hs01.kep.tr.


Pursuant to the provisions of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, applications made to our Company must include:

  • Name and surname of the applicant,

  • Signature (if the application is in writing),

  • Turkish ID number for citizens of the Republic of Turkey; nationality, passport number, or identification number (if available) for foreign nationals,

  • Residential or workplace address for notification,

  • Notification email address, telephone, and fax numbers (if available), and

  • The subject matter of the request.
