Armongate's Main Control Unit, with its features specific to modern IoT devices, can be used on-premises or in the cloud, is an important building block within the concept of the new generation Access Control 4.0. Armongate's Main Control Unit can control any brand reader which supports the Wiegand standard. It can communicate with other devices via TCP/IP or RS-485. Thus, institutions can apply Access Control 4.0 at low cost while protecting their existing reader investments.

Armongate Expansion Units, are designed to reduce costs in parameters with more than three readers, work fully integrated with the Armongate Main Control Unit. By adding 3 Expansion Units per Main Control Unit 24 extra readers can be added to the existing structure.
